Maggard Sound is a full service recording studio located in the mountains of Southwest Virginia. We have a long history that has become a part of the musical heritage of the Appalachian region.

We also have our own CD Duplication with in-house graphics and printing to complete your project in a cost-effective and hassle free process.

12.02.11   Ralph Stanley's "A Mothers Prayer" is nominated for a Grammy, Bluegrass Album of the year. recorded and mixed at Maggard Sound!

The Gathering in the Gap Music Festival here in Big Stone Gap was dedicated  to Charlie Maggard this year. It was an honor that will not  soon be forgotten by the Maggard Family!!
